Our Story
It started with two mates and an idea
TYDL started with two mates, Tye and Dylan, and a shared idea to build something of our own.
With backgrounds in hands-on trades and a love for travel, camping and the outdoors, we wanted to create campervans that were more than just practical. We wanted to build vans that felt like a home — with the quality, comfort and attention to detail we would expect in one of our own.
What began as an idea quickly turned into TYDL. Starting from the Sunshine Coast, we took on our first van and began learning, designing and building everything from the ground up. Every stage has been hands-on, from planning layouts and choosing materials to tackling the countless small details that bring a conversion together.
TYDL is being built alongside the vans themselves — one project, one lesson and one improvement at a time.
We're still at the beginning of our journey, and that's something we're proud of. Our goal is simple: to create premium campervans that look great, feel considered and give their owners the freedom to take home wherever they go.
This is just the start of TYDL, and we're excited to see where the road takes us.
